We are excited to announce auditions for our upcoming production! We are looking for talented performers to join our cast.
What to prepare:
- Please prepare two contrasting songs from two different musicals.
- Each song should be from a different decade (e.g. one song from a musical in the 1950s and another from a musical in the 2000s).
- Songs should showcase your vocal range, emotional expression, and ability to connect with the material.
- We will use backing tracks which we can either play from YouTube or you can provide your own.
Wednesday 26th February 8pm
Delmar Morgan Centre, Copthorne
Rehearsals will start 10th March at the Village Hall Mondays and Wednesdays. You won’t be called for all of the rehearsals, just the songs you are a part of.

A massive thank you to everyone who was involved in Aladdin this year, whether you were onstage, backstage, front of house, or in the audience. We achieved a Copthorne Players first in selling out eight shows for a single production, and I had to learn how to set up a waiting list on TicketSource! We also welcomed several new members to the Copthorne Players and we really hope you’ll be back (I’ve had a glance at the sign-up list for Back to the Musicals, seems like my wish will be granted 🧞♂️)
Coming up…
Get it in your diaries early, the Copthorne Carnival is back on Saturday 28th June and we will, as ever, be looking for volunteers to man our strawberries & cream stall and help out with the skittles. Plus, if we all start praying for a sunny day now, perhaps it might help!
