We are extremely thrilled to welcome West End star and London’s Evan Hansen, Sam Tutty, to Copthorne Players as our patron. An outstanding performer from a young age and a Copthorne native, Sam is excited to work with Copthorne Players and is looking forward to supporting us in any capacity he can. Outside of lockdown, he is currently starring in London’s production of the award-winning Dear Evan Hansen, having trained at Italia Conti Theatre Arts in London. He has won the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical along with the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actor in a Musical and the Jack Tinker Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Look out for Sam supporting Copthorne Players in the very near future!
“I am so pleased to have been asked to be your Patron this year, I am so sorry that we all can’t perform in the way that we want to. Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel and I know that Copthorne Players are doing a very fun project in October 2021. In my opinion I know that performing is just an incredible experience. I really recommend anyone who wants to, to try it. Seriously it is fantastic.”
